Bicutan Parochial School supports learners through scholarship and subsidy programs that help reduce the financial burden on families while ensuring access to quality Catholic education.
TLC Scholarship
Taguig Learner’s Certificate (TLC) supports public elementary graduates in Taguig who wish to continue their education in a partner private high school.
Benefits
- Educational allowance of ₱10,000.00
- Tuition fee support of up to ₱13,000.00 for Grade 7 to 10
- Tuition fee support of up to ₱18,000.00 for Grade 11 to 12, except those with DepEd Voucher
- Annual educational assistance for miscellaneous fees and other school-related expenses such as uniforms, books, projects, transportation, and similar needs
- Opportunity to apply for Taguig Scholarship upon reaching college
Basic Qualification Criteria
- Must be graduating from or have graduated from any public elementary school in Taguig
- Must have studied in a Taguig public school for at least three years
- Must be enrolling as Grade 7
- Must have good behavior certified by the school principal
- Parents must have lived in Taguig for at least three years
- Parents must be registered and active Taguig voters for the past three years prior to application
- Participation is voluntary with written parental consent and commitment of support
Requirements
- Original Student Application Form
- Certified true copy of Form 137
- Original certification from the adviser or principal that the applicant is among the current elementary graduates and has good behavior
- Barangay Residency Certificate of one parent showing at least three years of residence in Taguig
- Photocopy of the student’s Birth Certificate
- Optional: COMELEC Certification of one parent issued after the May 9, 2022 election
ESC Scholarship
Education Service Contracting (ESC) is a partnership program of the Department of Education (DepEd) designed to help decongest overcrowded public junior high schools by supporting students who enroll in participating private junior high schools.
About the Program
Under ESC, private junior high schools with certified participation receive slot allocations for students who would otherwise study in public schools. These slots come with subsidies known as ESC grants.
Program Administration
The program is administered by the Private Education Assistance Committee (PEAC), which has been contracted by DepEd to oversee the ESC and TSS programs through its National Secretariat and Regional Secretariats.
What Participating Schools Do
- Provide education that meets or exceeds DepEd minimum standards
- Orient grantees and parents on the ESC program
- Encode complete and correct information in the ESC system
- Prepare billing statement packages
- Undergo certification and comply with ESC guidelines
